Description

Provides HEAP grants that are used to supplement annual energy costs. Funds can only be sent to primary heating supplier and can be used to pay for electricity, propane, natural gas, wood, oil, kerosene, coal and any other heating fuel. Emergency HEAP grants may also be available to eligible households with a shut-off notice or for those running out of fuel such as propane, wood, oil, kerosene or coal. Over age 60, also provides assistance with replacement or repair of primary heating source - very limited funding.
