Provides a variety of services and activities to offer support to families in the community including formal and informal parenting education and support; community-based/developmentally appropriate settings for parents/day-care providers and young children to interact; lending libraries; play groups; access to family enrichment services provided by community partners; and many other optional services. This program is a collaboration between Pro Action's Family Development Program, the Woodhull Community and Family Resource Center, Addison Jennie Mose Family Resource Center, Corning Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center, and Bath Area Family Resource Center.

Aim is to maintain family unity, teach skills that will promote positive changes within the family structure, and is goal-oriented to meet a family's basic needs and help the family remain intact.

Facilitates parenting programs dedicated to strengthening family life throughout the county through classes and workshops, relevant to modern families.

Provides a home-based program for all new and expectant parents in order to identify family strengths and provide support during the parenting journey. The program provides the newest child developmental information, popular parenting trends and connects parents to resources.

Provides various evidence based programs to youth, adolescents, parents, school districts and community members to help in prevention of substance use. Offers active parenting programs, teen prevention and intervention, bullying and violence prevention, and other programs as requested. Also provides screening for referrals for drug, alcohol or gambling addictions. Includes a resource library for community members and professional training opportunities.

The PRC offers a variety of free parenting classes.

Assists men build a support network to gain a stronger understanding of their roles and responsibilities, and how they relate to the best interest of their children and families. Topics covered include child development, fatherhood, parenting, communication skills, blended families, values and behaviors, and healthy relationships. 13-week hybrid group held bi-annually.

Teaches four, easy to remember steps to help children identify their feelings, learn healthy self-control and reduce challenging behaviors. Program is for parents, grandparents, teachers, childcare providers. All Facilitators are certified by Devereaux Center for Resilient Children.
